The Legacy of Cardinal Sales

 

Cardinal Sales was founded in 1968 by Sumner Selby to create a better manufacturer's representative company. With experience at GE and CBS, Sumner wanted a more customer-focused approach in electronics.

 

In its early years, Cardinal Sales worked with home audio and video brands like Pioneer, Hitachi, Maxell, and Infinity. By the late 1970s, we expanded into the 12-Volt category, representing brands like Jensen and Infinity Car Audio, and we have been the Kenwood representative since 1985. We also participate in 12-Volt groups like MERA and IASCA. 

 

In the early 1990s, Cardinal Sales joined the CEDIA channel as Custom Home Audio and Video grew. We remain committed to adapting to the needs of our partners and customers.
